These artistic urns for pet ashes are hand-blown in turn-of-the-centuryTiffany-style iridescent art glass with an engravable closure in solid brass. The medium Sphere is cradled in a solid cherrywood stand, and is suitable for a pet with a healthy weight up to 35 pounds, such as a small to medium breed of dog. The small Sphere is appropriate in size for a pet up to approximately 12 pounds, such as an average cat, and sits upon a solid brass circular stand.
There are numerous ways to go about commemorating your pet, and to inspire warm memories for years to come. A pet family may choose one of our spherical urns or keepsakes to keep in their home on a mantel, or at a desk top or bedside table, as an evocative memorial to their beloved pet. Some families opt to scatter the ashes in a special place where they have spent happy times with their pet, and keep only the tags in the urn. We provide a plastic liner bag for the ashes, and a velvet pouch is included for containing tags or mementos inside the sphere, but separate from the ashes. Custom Pet Urns: Generally speaking, the weight of your pet in pounds is approximately equal to the cubic inch volume of the ashes, so our medium Sphere urn is suitable for a pet up to 35 pounds, and our small Sphere urn is appropriate for a pet up to about 12 pounds. Should you wish to commission a larger sphere, please contact us with the weight of your pet, and we will provide a quote and time frame for a custom pet urn that will be sized perfectly for your pet.
Alternatively, for larger pets, many families choose one of our full-sized human urns, which contain the ashes of a pet up to 200 pounds. Another alternative is selecting one of our full-sized urns as a collective communal urn for several of the family's pets over time.
