Klimt Small Infant Cremation Urn in Hand Blown Glass

This captivating small infant cremation urn is hand-blown by a glass artist, using 24 karat gold embedded within the art glass. Its base is a ring of mirror-polished solid brass. Everyone has their own interpretation of what they see in the design and patterns of this small infant urn - we've heard the embedded gold called "pixie dust" by one family, and the small ornaments referred to as small toys by another. The glass artisan creates murrinis, which are small glass ornaments that are then blown together within the molten glass to make patterns reminiscent of the work of artist Gustav Klimt of the Art Nouveau era. The interior volume of this infant urn is up to 12 cubic inches, which is roughly equal to the volume of cremains from an infant of up to 12 pounds. The Closure is made of solid mirror polished brass that offers space for engraving. Included are a plastic liner bag, and a velvet pouch for containing mementos.
