Morning Glory Small Infant Cremation Urn in Hand Blown Glass

This delightful small cremation urn sphere bespeaks a baby's joy in the morning. Hand-blown by a glass artisan, the flower motif represents a garland of morning glories that every morning bloom anew. The sphere sits on a base of solid brass. The capacity of the vessel is up to 12 cubic inches, which is approximately equal to the volume of cremains from a small infant weighing up to 12 pounds. The glass artist creates murrinis - tiny glass ornaments - that are gathered up on the blower's pipe, then blown together to depict a vinework of morning glories winding around the sphere.  The Closure is made of solid brass that is highly polished to a mirror surface, providing a place for engraving. Included are a plastic liner bag, and a velvet pouch for containing mementos.
